NRO NC Nominations - October 2026

Nominations are now open for one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC).

The RIPE NCC Executive Board will appoint one person from the list of confirmed nominees for a three-year term beginning on 1 January 2027 and ending on 31 December 2029.

The deadline to submit a nomination is 23:59 UTC on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. The nominees have until 23:59 UTC on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 to complete the confirmation requirements (see nomination process).

The list of confirmed nominees will be published no later than 15 October 2026, and the Executive Board’s decision will be announced no later than 30 October 2026.

This is an appointment by the RIPE NCC Executive Board. There will be no community vote for this seat during RIPE 93.

About the NRO Number Council

The NRO NC was established in October 2004 under a Memorandum of Understanding between ICANN and the five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs).

The Council consists of 15 members: three from each RIR service region. In each region, two members are elected by the regional Internet community and one member is appointed by the relevant RIR’s Executive Board.

The two elected members from the RIPE NCC service region are currently Andrei Robachevsky and Constanze Bürger.

The RIPE NCC Executive Board-appointed member is currently Hervé Clément. This nomination process is for the Board-appointed seat.
