A key part of our work has always been supporting our members through learning and development opportunities across our service region, both online and in-person. Relevant skills and awareness of best practices help our members make informed decisions and vastly improve their networks.

Learning Opportunities

We offer several learning opportunities:

• In-person training courses
• Live expert-led webinars
• E-learning courses and micro-learnings

E-learning courses and webinars are free for everyone and accessible with a RIPE NCC Access account. In-person training courses are included in the RIPE NCC membership.

Learning Topics

We offer courses in the following topics, with certification available for selected courses:

• IPv6
• Routing
• Measurements and Tools
• Internet Registry
• Internet Governance

Certification Opportunities

The RIPE NCC Academy offers certification opportunities in selected topics by taking an online proctored exam. The exam results are made available immediately. Those who pass will receive a digital badge they can share on their social media and professional networks!

A certification exam can only be taken with an exam voucher. These vouchers are redeemable for any exam. If you are a RIPE NCC member, you are entitled to three exam vouchers per year for each LIR that you hold. To learn more about how our vouchers work, visit our RIPE NCC Academy Vouchers page.
